dolis y dolos de misako mimoko

Awgrrr (sonido de mis visceras cuando me emociono)...es que quiero compartirles el trabajo de misako mimoko pero mejor en sus palabras aqui va: "Mi nombre es Eva, aunque me escondo bajo nombre de Misako Mimoko, y hace cosa de un año que empecé a confeccionar mis primeras muñecas. Natalia muy amablemente me pidió que escribiese una pequeña introducción sobre mi trabajo para su bonito blog, le agradezco muchísimo que haya querido postear mi trabajo :) Desde que empecé a hacer las 'dolis y dolos' no he podido parar, ¡me encanta!Constantemente veo cosas que me inspiran y me llevan a descubrir nuevos personajes. Mi principal fuente de inspiración son las ilustraciones y los muñecos antiguos, muchos de los cuales los descubre mi pareja Gabriel (joyville.blogspot.com), siempre me sorprenden y encuentro cosas de las que aprender. Cada una de mis muñecas está hecha para alguien muy especial, me siento como si preparase un regalo a una persona querida, en todo momento me pregunto si está bien así, o puede llegar a ser más bonita, si gustará, si disfrutarán de su compañía... Espero que siempre haya alguien que encuentre "su muñeca", eso me haría muy feliz."

"Awgrrr" (that is the sound of my loins whenever I get excited) because I want to share the very cute work by Ava "misakomimoko" in her own words: my name is eva, alltough I go by the name Misako Mimoko, I started working on my dolls about a year ago, Natalia kindly asked me to make an introduction for my dolls to post on her cute blog, I thank her for posting my work (im really blushed translating this) Since I started making my dolis & dolos, I couldnt stop, I LOVE IT! I constantly see things that inspire me and make me discover new characters. My main inspiration comes from vintage ilustrations & dolls, and most of them are discovered by my significant other/love Gabriel (joyville.blogspot.com) they always surprise me (the finds), things that I want to learn from. Each doll is made for someone very special, I feel im making present for a very dear person, alway questioning if its ok, or if it could be lovelier, if someone will like it & enjoy its company. free handmade zine

I always like those cool people who blog, and have giveaways... so, I decided to try and be one of them... I made a mini zine with some handmade ilustrations, some invented stories for each, its fun, and you can color it too!..
so...if you want them, just write to fawamail@gmail.com... it doesnt matter if you live on some remote island on the caribbean(lucky you) or anything, I can send it to you!!

Me encantan esas personas que regalan cositas en su blog...asi que decidí tratar ser asi de cool, asi que... Hice un mini zine con unas ilustraciones a mano con unas pequeñas historias inventadas , creo que es rarito , incoherente, pero también divertido, así que si eres una de las 4 primeras personas que escriba a fawamail@gmail.com, te lo puedo obsequiar, no importa que vivas en una isla remota en el caribe(que rico que suertudos), te lo puedo enviar!!!

my kid already sings 'one little two little three little indians'...only its in the cool version: leee-roo, lee-roo, lee-roo, so Im posting today this little drawing I did of a little Indian on cardboard.. I loove this technique...so much fun and messiness

mi hijito ya canta su versión the 'little indian', pero la mejor versión: y suena un poquito asi: 'liru, liru, liru', entonces hoy decidí compartirles una pintura sobre cartón de una pequeña niña indígena.
me encanta esta técnica, muy divertida y un poco cochinita.

This dolls already found their home, but still I wanted to share a bit of my recent work, because its so full of color and energy, maybe because its summer? or is it because I unlocked the cage of the monster I have inside, and who is coming out trough the dolls I make?...its probably because of summer...raar rar rar

Estos monitos ya encontraron un nuevo hogar, son parte de mi trabajo mas reciente, lleno de colores y mucha energía, y mas antropomorfos que nunca, será porque es verano? o porque le abrí la jaulita al mounstrito que llevo dentro y está empezando a salir por medio de los monitos que hago?...seguro es por lo del verano...raaaaaar

all turtles go to heaven

My friend ely never forgot her little turtle until that day when santa claus brought her rollerblades... she wanted to rollerblade outside, and tought it would be cool for her turtle to watch, only she forgot her turtle in the sun, and it died.
But no worries Ely, all turtles go to heaven, where they all hibernate forever in peace. & she says hi.

My amiga ely, nunca se habia olvidado de su tortuga, hasta el dia en que santa claus, le trajo patines...quería patinar afuera, y pensó que sería buena idea que su tortuga la viera patinar, solo que se le olvidó a ely en el sol la tortuga, y murió.
Pero no te preocupes Ely, porque todas las tortugas van al cielo, donde hibernan para siempre en paz. Y te manda saludos!
